2017 Summer Crisis Program

The Home Energy Assistance Program’s 2017 Summer Crisis Program runs through August 31, 2017. The program assists with electric payments and/or air conditioners. The applicant must either have a documented medical condition verified by a Licensed Physician/Certified Nurse Practitioner OR at least one household member 60 years of age or older. In order to receive an air conditioner YOU MUST BRING SOMEONE TO LOAD IT. To receive assistance, the household must be at or below 175% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines as follows: Household size & 12 month income, 1-$21,105, 2-$28,420, 3-$35,735, 4-$42,525, 5-$50,365, 6-$57,680. Applicants will need to bring: Proof of household income for the past 3 months or 12 months, social security cards or birth certificates all household members, heating and electric bills and photo id.
