Summer may be winding down but we’re staying active! We have fun trips, engaging lunch speakers, and two Game Nights this month! We also hope to see you at the 2024 Clinton County Corn Festival as we return to sell our popular Pressed Chicken Sandwiches!
For this month’s trips, we will be going to the G&R Tavern, A&M Apple Orchard, and La Comedia! We’re especially looking forward to La Comedia’s production of Saturday Night Fever. Hoping to see some disco moves from our Seniors!
Our Lunch Speaker Series continues this month as we welcome the Clinton County History Center, Clinton County Solid Waste Management District, Wilmington Transit System, Clinton County Recorders Office, and Clinton County Board of Developmental Disabilities. These presentations take place in the hour leading up to our Congregate Lunch so come in and learn about our community and stay for lunch! We’ve scheduled two Game Nights this month on Saturday, September 7th and Saturday, September 21st! Don’t miss these fun nights with all of your friends.
Like you, we love the Corn Festival! Besides our booth selling Pressed Chicken Sandwiches, we are excited to bring back our “5K Run/Walk” with proceeds benefiting the Center, and the crowning of the 2024 Corn King & Queen. Guaranteed to be a fun weekend!
