As we move into the end of summer, the Aging Up Community Center has a lot to offer! We have added trips and other fun activities to help you get the most out of your August.
One of our most popular offerings is our Senior Trips and we will be going on 7 of them in August! From museums to road trips for fried bologna, we’ve got you covered! Check out the Senior Trips section of this newsletter for more information.
We will continue our Lunch Speaker Series this month with presentations by Happy Cows Creamery, the Clinton County Emergency Management Agency, OSU Extension Office, and Wilmington News Journal! Come for the presentation and then stay and enjoy our daily Congregate Lunch.
Speaking of Congregate Lunches, we have some special themed lunches planned for August, including a 50’s Lunch, Full Moon Celebration, Labor Day Cookout (with ice cream bar!), and our popular monthly Birthday Lunch. Complete information on these lunches can be found in this newsletter.
The Fall Fashion Gala returns on Saturday, August 24th! Strength & Dignity Boutique will be at the Center to help you get your wardrobe ready for Fall. This event is a fundraiser for the Aging Up Community Center so come on out and show your support!
